Models combine signals
A biological-age model combines chronological age with selected biomarkers and a statistical relationship observed in a reference population. The quality of the view depends on the measurements behind it, which is why Vector keeps the underlying results and dates close at hand.
Vector’s current layers
Vector uses nine core pathology inputs, optional secondary modifiers and a separate wearable context layer. The app shows which data is present and how much context the record contains, so the estimate is easier to understand and follow.
Built for Australian reports
The published Levine foundation used a different unit convention. Vector adapts the blood biomarker layer for the units printed on Australian pathology reports and calibrates the resulting distribution for the records it follows. That gives Australian users a consistent way to track their biological-age direction in the format their reports already use.
